more like this if you use a MILK fixing detail inside the head.

Oh i sent the message from here via private message. I'll message in facebook instead if you can not see it?

I dont think i like the capping as an "add-on" i think MILK should only do professional products. MILK has one of the best looking and best engineered mallet heads out there, why ruin it. Simplicity in engineering should be its selling point. Not adaptation. Thats my opinion.

I think these make sense:
cap: 115 / 125
uncap: 115 / 125

Capped mallet name... I m boring so i like the Simple Cap 1.1 or the SC 1.1
I guess it could be - MILK Cap 1.1

Single and double capped heads are going to be the standard sooner or later.

I think ive sent you a friend request?

I've also messaged you did that get though to you?

I think the diameter is right unless the rules change id be reluctant to change that right now. It maybe the future but who knows?

I think its a matter of small adjustments now. I'd be against changing anything on the uncaped end as it seems to not have any problems.

I think loosing 5mm in length will do quite a bit.

Then next would be making a med and a light head for different types of game play.

GREAT...

Maybe they're a bit too tough then? Be good to see for deformations. Funny seeing as the weight difference was hardly any at all.

That triangle added was pretty solid looking at the section photo.

If we could get the weight nearer to 80g that would be amazing!

125mm maybe that should be less? I play with 120mm if you remove that from the thinnest part Im sure the capped end wont need as much there in the triangle.

I guess the heads have been tested loads now.... how are they doing?

Be good to see some after photos and details on how much they have been played?

Loads of people in London use hockey tape for their mallet grips heres the way i do mine. I prefer to take my time when doing it as that little bit of care leads to better results.

I use a skewer in the grip to help me locate the ends of the mallet head better i used to use a chopstick but anything will do really. I place the skewer so it faces inwards to my palm my thumb locates itself nicely there.

Its not really difficult but heres a step by step guide.

I've used a dead battery from a bike light to cap the end hopefully it wont explode durring play. img462
I guess the important bits is the twist in the tape to create the grip img0467 and crossing over the skewer on a centre so the grip is balanced. img478.

Like I said there's nothing new here but i havent really seen it documented for others.

Cool, that's not bad at all.

I think that the heads you're trying will tell us a lot for the next version.

Can't wait to see the results.

I think it could go bigger than 22 but for safeties sake 22mm should hopefully be bomb proof.

When do you think you will get a mock up?

Quentin,

That looks good! I dont think its as pretty as the other curved design.

It looks as though it will work well i think that this point (pink line) could be made a bit wider maybe by 1-2mm.

But Yeah! Cant wait to see them.

Apart from the reduction in striking surface I think is probably worth a try. As William says in his other post, it's where the head wears down anyway.

I'm not so keen on it myself. I was playing with a milk headed mallet on Sunday. What I noticed is that... Accuracy is down to you. No blaming the mallet head. Basically I don't think this is something you should compromise in the product. If youre wearing you mallet down maybe you're not using it right? OR is this unavoidable this should be factored in and not be sacrificed in the strike area.

I could see how the radius could be made useful... Spin, subtler control of the ball. But I don't think that level of mallet skill is here yet or a least to the majority of polo players.

Any way. Would love to hear/ see the results!!
