If you want to use your own shaft you can order the head and a custom bolt kit.
The goal is to drop the nut in the stick and cut the stick where the nut stop.

It is likely that once cut your stick it fits our pre-drilled head BUT because all the shaft have not the same wall thinkness it is also possible that the nut hangs too high, in this case you have a stick too short. It can also go too low and in this case the hole in the head pre-drilled is too large.
If the size of the hole in the head does not fit you can make another one at the right size. We have pre-marked the head in the middle every 60°, this way you just need a driller and make the hole you want.

Please refere to this shafts compatibility here to get an idea of what lenght you will get with our custom nut. This is not exact science, the sticks may have changed since our tests. Note that if you sell sticks we are interested in testing them with our nut, feel free to contact us.

Of course in the worst case you can simply order a head and set as you want on any stick. But remember that one of the main interest of MILK heads is the ability to change quickly and effortlessly.

custom bolt a long screw and a washer.

The following “how to” will explain you how to convert almost any shaft to a MILK ready one. Please note that the custom bolt is not mandatory, you can just use the any bolt and do the “one bolt technic” explained in this link, just file a slot instead of instead of teeth.
